Champagne Tour

Our Champagne Tours focus on vineyards in the Stellenbosch, Franschhoek  region  where Champagne or as it is known in South Africa “ Methode Cap Classique” is   produced according to the “method champenoise”

We collect you from your hotel/guest house and  relocate to the Stellenbosch  region where our first stop is  at  JC Le Roux where we start the day  with a champagne and nougat tasting and a tour of the cellar to see how champagne is produced.  Villiera , the name is synonymous with good value is next on our list. Bubbly accounts for more than a third of their production with many different styles available for tasting under the trees in their court yard.

Simonsig is our next stop . The first vineyard in South Africa to produce MCC ( Methode Cap Classic ) as it is known in South Africa in 1971 . Their award winning bubbles are famous all over the world ! We stop here for lunch in their award winning restaurant Cuvee

After lunch we travel to Franschhoek  and visit the historical village before stopping over at  Haute Cabriere where the views over Franschhoek are truly breathtaking and their MCC delicious!

We return via the beautiful  Helshoogte mountain pass to Stellenbosch and on to Cape Town
